Building a Legacy

Jesus is building His church, and He is using every one of us. While we’ve accomplished so much together, God is giving us more vision and opportunities than ever before. As we continue to build God’s Kingdom, you have the opportunity to help share the love of Jesus with even more people in our community, our state, our nation, and our world.

Legacy
Offering

Through our annual Legacy Offering, we have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on each of the three Legacy Lanes. Leading up to Legacy Sunday, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the Legacy Offering and the ways you can make a difference. During this season, we invite you to prayerfully consider how God is leading you to build an enduring legacy.

BRIDGE PROJECTS

Missions: Local, National, and Global Local Ministries: We are going to bless some of the local non-profits, that are already doing amazing jobs, with our partnership. These programs take care of people who live in our communities and have been impacted by hard times and inflation. They provide food, housing, foster care, medical care, and Christian education, many sharing the love of Jesus with the people they serve. Programs include but are not limited to Care to Learn, Teen Challenge, Work Life at One City, and the Missouri Mentorship Program. National Ministries: We are going to continue our partnership with the Association of Related Churches to help plant life-giving churches across our nation. Our give-back helped plant 40 churches with ARC in 2023, seeing over 1000 people accept Christ, and we will continue to help plant churches because we believe every community needs a life-giving church. Global Missions: This year we plan to begin a partnership with Children’s Cup in the village of Guinea Grass, Belize. We would like to help them purchase property and build a structure that can become a light to the community’s youth, bringing change in the areas of poverty and addiction. We also want to support our first Missionary Couple, the Fishers, with Legacy Mission International in Honduras.

Next Gen: We truly believe we’ll all look back one day and say that the greatest investment we could ever make was equipping our kids and students to go change the world for Christ. We are committed to creating spaces and providing resources they need to live out their faith. Here are a few things this offering will support: a van needed for student transportation, renovation of a larger space for our students to meet, playground equipment in BKiDS Check-In, and updated equipment. What an honor to be a part of seeing young people live a life of eternal impact.

Bridge Church Projects: This offering will give us a chance to pay off the debt we acquired to complete the renovations to our current campus. It will also allow us to purchase and complete the needed equipment to host live stream services. In addition, we would like to complete the remodel of our Next Steps space. We want to move forward with these projects without debt at the speed of generosity, and this offering accelerates that speed.
